Cancellation Policy:  If you give us 30 days or more written notification of cancellation you will receive a refund of your rental prepayment less a $50.00 cancellation fee.  If it is less than 30 days you will forfeit your rental prepayment unless we can re-rent the property for the same or greater number of nights you have it reserved.  We now offer Travel Protection Insurance please click HERE  to get more information

 

Methods of Payment:  Rental prepayment can be paid by personal or business check (more than 30 days from arrival), certified check, money order or travelers checks.  You may pay with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover with a 5% surcharge.  At check in the balance can be paid with cash, certified check, money order, travelers checks or cash.  We DO NOT accept personal or business checks at the time of check in.  You may pay with Visa, Mastercard or Discover with a 5% surcharge.

 

Can We Check In After Hours:  Yes.  You must be paid in full prior to your arrival.  We have a drop box located to the right of our front door to leave your key, map and written directions in

 

Do You Allow Pets?:  Yes, but only in pet friendly units.  There is a $100.00 pet fee for dogs and $125.00 pet fee for cats.  Your contract will have to be amended to allow for the pet.  Please let us know at the time of booking that you will be bringing a pet.

 

Do You Allow Smoking?:  All our units are NO smoking inside.  Some allow smoking on porches and balconies and some do not.  Please ask

Are Linens, Towels & Housekeeping Provided:  We supply sheets and pillowcases for the indicated beds on the properties description page.  We also supply 1 towel, 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel per occupant listed on the rental agreement and 1 bath mat per bathroom.  As a courtesy we supply the initial set up of 1 roll of paper towels, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, small soaps for the bathrooms and 1 garbage bag per trash can anything after this initial set up is the renters responsibility.

 

Can We Get To The Area In The Winter:  Roads are maintained as well as the weather permits but this does not mean totally clear roads. You will need to be prepared to have 4x4 or snow chains in case of natural snowfall during your stay.  Chains can be purchased in the area and the cost depends on the size of your tires.

 

Nearest Grocery Store:  Beech Mountain has a small store, Fred’s General Mercantile, they offer the basic staples.  For big grocery shopping there is Food Lion and Lowes Foods in Banner Elk which is about 15 minutes from Beech Mountain

 

Nearby Restaurants:  There are a variety of restaurants on Beech Mountain:  a deli, pizzeria, fine dining, Mexican plus more.  There are no chain restaurants on the mountain.

 

Check In and Check Out Times:  Check in 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Arrangements can be made for late arrivals.  Check out 10:00 a.m.

 

Is Firewood Provided:  We can have firewood delivered:  small load (usually lasts 2 – 3 days)  $40.00  Large load (usually lasts 5 – 7 day) $70.00.  Gas is provided for the gas fireplaces

 

Is Shuttle Service Available?:  Only to select units.  Otherwise you must provide your own transportation

 

Where Do You Rent Ski Equipment?:  Beech Meadows Ski Shop, which offers the lowest prices on Beech Mountain to our renters, they also allow you to keep the equipment your entire stay so you don’t have to stand in long lines to be fitted everyday.  They are also located next door to our office for extreme convenience.

 

What Do I Need to Bring?

Summer Time:  extra towels, wash powders, dryer sheets, fan, camera, light jacket/sweater, toilet paper, personal toiletries, cell phone

 

Winter Time:  extra towels, wash powders, dryer sheets, warm winter coat, boots, gloves, scarf, camera, toilet paper, personal toiletries, cell phone, 4x4 or snow chains
